Live radio broadcasts occur from wharf throughout the day with interviews of key competitors and celebrities. |

WIN TV and Southern Cross Television. Easter Sunday 23rd March 2008The first of the race fleet can be expected in Coles Bay from
noon onwards. After completing the run over Mt Freycinet, the
first teams will be departing for Hobart in the late afternoon. All teams are expected to have departed Coles Bay by evening or early Monday morning. Easter Monday 24th March 2008The Kings Pier at Sullivans Cove in Hobart is the next and last control point where yachts are timed in and runners sent on their final climb, the 33 km run to the summit of Mt Wellington. See the runners have their final kit check and setting off on this run. Cheer them back in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours later, the winner expecting to finish from mid morning onwards. Ring the control centre for an update on their progress. Click here for the phone numbers. Tuesday 25th March 2008The last teams are expected to finish at Kings Pier, Hobart on Tuesday. The "Last In" trophy is always a great way to celebrate that everyone who completes this great race is a "winner". Saturday 29th March 20087.30 p.m. Official Presentation and Reunion Dinner at Tasmanian Racing Club at the Elwick Racecourse, Glenorchy. Competitors, volunteers and others gather to celebrate the race, congratulate the winners and re-live some of the many memorable moments of the past week.
